Safe Driver

Cars nowadays having been moving more and more towards safer car rides. It used to be thought there was no way to survive a car crash. Now your chance of survival is way better but people do still die and there is still a way to improve. Some cars have movable lights. The lights adjust to where the suspension is and lights the road. BMW has also announced something to assist left turns. It uses cameras and laser assist. It tries to detect imminent threats. A Mercedes-Benz uses a night vision camera to help detect human figures. If it detects something that looks human if flashes lights and the night vision. These are all improvements to make a car ride safe.

  1. I like this Devery. Night vision and lasers, two technologies that have been around a long time. They've been around a while, but I haven't seen them used in cars. This is a great innovation! Thanks for sharing.

What is an "imminent threat?" How would you program a car to react to an imminent threat? Something to think about. Respond with your thoughts :)
